One of the nation’s largest Memorial Day motorcycle demonstrations, Rolling To Remember brings thousands of riders from across the United States to Washington, DC to honor fallen service members, remember POW/MIA personnel, and raise awareness about veteran suicide and mental health challenges. Formerly known as Rolling Thunder, the event continues a decades-long Memorial Day tradition of remembrance and patriotism.

The powerful motorcycle procession begins near the Pentagon and travels through Washington, DC in a highly visible tribute ride featuring veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and supporters from across the country. Spectators line streets and overpasses to watch the massive convoy of motorcycles roll into the capital in honor of those who served and sacrificed.

In Fairfax County, the associated Ride of the Patriots® event adds a full weekend of community activities, including opening ceremonies, live music, pancake breakfasts, military honor guards, vendor areas, and police-escorted rides into Washington.

The atmosphere combines patriotic celebration with solemn remembrance, making it both an emotional and visually unforgettable Memorial Day experience.
