Description: Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at this vibrant, family-friendly festival showcasing the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of AAPI communities in Howard County and beyond. The festival begins with a colorful Parade of Cultures through the park, culminating at the iconic Chrysalis stage where the day’s festivities officially begin.

Families can enjoy a full afternoon of live cultural performances featuring music, dance, martial arts, fashion showcases, and more. Interactive activities invite children and adults to participate in hands-on experiences such as origami, calligraphy, drumming, crafts, games, and cultural demonstrations.

Food lovers can sample authentic Asian and Pacific Islander cuisine from local food vendors and food trucks, while browsing artisan booths, community exhibits, and local businesses. The festival also provides opportunities to connect with organizations that support and celebrate the AAPI community.
