Description: The Spirit of Independence Festival is a three-day celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Held under a massive tent spanning two city blocks in front of the National Archives, the festival combines history, culture, entertainment, and community activities for visitors of all ages. Guests can enjoy free family-friendly daytime programs, historical reenactments, live performances, interactive exhibits, and special access to the National Archives Museum with advance registration.
