Throughout 2026, the National Park Service is offering several fee-free entrance days that allow visitors to explore national parks, monuments, historic sites, and recreation areas without paying the standard entrance fee. These special dates provide an excellent opportunity for families to experience America’s natural wonders, historic landmarks, and cultural treasures while saving on admission costs. Entrance fees are waived on these dates, although other fees such as camping, reservations, tours, or special permits may still apply.

• February 16 — Presidents Day (Washington’s Birthday)
• May 25 — Memorial Day
• June 14 — Flag Day
• July 3–5 — Independence Day Weekend
• August 25 — 110th Birthday of the National Park Service
• September 17 — Constitution Day
• October 27 — Theodore Roosevelt’s Birthday
• November 11 — Veterans Day
