Great Country Farms at the Henway Cider Barn Pond

Celebrate Father’s Day with a fun-filled catch-and-release fishing contest at Great Country Farms. Families can cast a line in the farm’s stocked pond, filled with bass and bluegill, and compete for prizes throughout the day.

Awards are given for the largest fish caught between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM and for the most fish caught during the “Power Hour” competition from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Winners receive a Fan of the Farm Season Pass, good for unlimited visits over the next year.

Guests should bring their own fishing poles and gear (drag hooks are not permitted), and worms can be purchased in advance. Admission also includes access to the farm’s play areas, market, bakery, and other attractions.

The event also features fresh apple cider donuts and live music on the Henway Patio from noon to 4:00 PM.
