Description: FONA’s biggest annual spring event transforms the National Arboretum into a lively garden festival + plant market + family activity day. Visitors can shop from thousands of plants selected by horticulture experts, browse 25+ local vendors, and enjoy kid-friendly activities in one of DC’s most beautiful outdoor settings.
Highlights include:
- Huge plant sale tent with flowers, herbs, shrubs, trees, and rare plants
- Vendor Village with garden goods, art, home décor, food, and drinks
- Free family activities (10 AM – 2 PM) including face painting, arts, crafts, and games for ages 2–12
- Access to the Arboretum grounds, including spring blooms and open green space
