Description: A welcoming in-person meetup for families of autistic preschool and elementary-aged children, designed to help parents connect while kids enjoy outdoor play in a relaxed, supportive setting. Siblings are welcome too, making it an easy whole-family outing.
Hosted by xMinds, a Montgomery County nonprofit focused on improving education outcomes for autistic students, the event gives families a chance to build community, share resources, and enjoy low-pressure social time.
With playground space, open movement, and a casual format, this meetup is especially helpful for children who do best in unstructured, sensory-friendly environments.
