Why families may love it
- Free admission and free children’s activities, so you can enjoy the festival without spending money.
- There is plenty for children to do while adults explore the food and entertainment.
- The festival has a strong community atmosphere and combines music, food, crafts and activities in one location.
- The free shuttle can make getting there easier, especially because the festival does not have dedicated event parking.
Good to know
- This is a large and busy festival; the organizers say it attracts tens of thousands of visitors.
- It is rain or shine and has no rain date.
- Food and other purchases cost extra.
- There is a beer/wine area. Children are welcome at the overall festival and Kids Zone, but the alcohol area is intended for adults.
- The free shuttle runs approximately 10:30 AM–7:30 PM.
- If going primarily for kids, the Town Green Kids Zone is the area to focus on.
