Families can discover how clothing has reflected American identity, culture, traditions, and creativity over the past 250 years. Visitors will view displays inspired by the Library’s fashion collections, learn from Library experts, and participate in hands-on activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity.

Children and families can create their own fashion designs, explore the history of American style, and learn how fashion connects to art, culture, business, and everyday life. Experts from several Library divisions will share insights into the icons, traditions, and industries that have shaped American fashion.
