Description: A large community resource fair designed to connect families of children with disabilities to local programs, services, recreational opportunities, advocacy groups, and educational supports throughout Montgomery County. The event brings together more than 40 organizations serving children and young adults with special needs, creating a one-stop opportunity for families to gather information, ask questions, and build community connections.
Families can meet representatives from organizations focused on autism support, adaptive recreation, therapeutic services, camps, tutoring, transition planning, sports, social skills groups, and inclusive community programming. Participating organizations include local favorites such as xMinds, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Special Olympics Maryland, and Pathfinders for Autism.
The fair also features parent workshop sessions and networking opportunities, giving caregivers a chance to learn practical strategies, discover county resources, and connect with other families navigating similar experiences.
