Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum with a special Soar Together Family Day packed with hands-on STEM activities, live performances, demonstrations, and interactive experiences.

Families can learn to fold incredible paper airplanes with The Paper Airplane Guy, John Collins, meet children’s author Jamila Lindo during a reading of Hannah’s Dream Tower, chat with museum experts who helped transform the museum during its renovation, and enjoy Professor Wingnut, a family-friendly performance by Smithsonian’s Discovery Theater. American Sign Language interpretation will be available for select programs.
