Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at this signature Independence Day event on the National Mall. The day features patriotic festivities, live entertainment, special performances, military flyovers, and family-friendly programming leading up to one of the largest fireworks displays ever held in the nation’s capital.

The evening concludes with an approximately 40-minute fireworks spectacular launched over the National Mall, creating a memorable finale to a full day of celebration honoring the nation’s history and future.

• Bags must be clear and no larger than 18″ × 14″ × 8″. Small clutches (up to 6.5″ × 4.5″) are permitted. Backpacks, luggage, and oversized bags are prohibited.
• Expect large crowds, road closures, and limited parking—Metro is strongly recommended
